About Venture Garden

Venture Garden is a comprehensive educational and training program for young entrepreneurs who want to develop their skills, gain access to a continuously growing entrepreneurial network and receive hands-on training by industry leaders. The program is provided free of charge and is addressed to all people who wish to turn their idea into a business reality.

The program includes 10 classes, through which participants get in touch with the most important topics required for a successful business startup and receive mentoring and support, during a 10-months period, based on a business goal framework personalized for each participant.

During the first five rounds of the program, more than 1.300 applications have been already submitted, with 437 people being selected and participating in the program in Athens and Thessaloniki. During the first five rounds, 131 professors and mentors have offered 376 hours of counseling and substantial support enabling participants of the program turn their business ideas to actual business results. It is worth noting that more than 639 hours of counseling and support have been offered to VentureGarden participants.

Michael Printzos, THI’s Director of Programming stated: “We are very pleased that VentureGarden, a program that sets out to boost entrepreneurship, one of THI’s main focuses of activity and an important pillar for recession recovery, has been so positively accepted and is now on its 6th round. Our aim is to support young, dynamic people in their effort to turn their business ideas into reality, and the results so far have been really encouraging. We are looking forward to welcoming the new participants in the 6th round of the program.”
